CSKA Moscow big man Sasha Kaun has experienced a steep progression since his debut with the team a handful of seasons ago. Now he's one of the key pieces in a puzzle that every season aims for the highest goals.

Educated at the College of Florida by the US-Central African coach Aubin Goporo, Sasha Kaun then won the NCAA championship with Mario Chalmers in the colors of the University of Kansas before joining the Red Army CSKA Moscow where he attended four once the Final Four of the Euroleague. Sasha Kaun is also a member of the Russian national team with which he won the bronze medal at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Very physical, Kaun is an essential element in the workforce of the Italian coach Ettore Messina.
