Afrika One Team: Together anything is possible

The first edition of basketball camp AFRIKA ONE TEAM took place on Saturday 20 July in the room El Mamoune of Maghreb Sportive Rabat (MSR) in Morocco.. This basketball camp that was open to everyone free finally together children aged 8 to 12 years from different parts of the city of Rabat.

At first, it's "Darija" (Moroccan national language) as the owner and manager Head News Basket Bêafrika had spoken to interact with several children under the watchful eye of their parents before greeting the presence all participants. Cyrille Ngario did not miss the opportunity to clarify the importance of the project AFRIKA ONE TEAM in Africa to rescue children experiencing learning difficulties, children with disabilities (mental and physical) to enable them to s 'full potential. Faced with remarkable attention to these children, the owner of NBB insisted that his media means this project develop basketball across the African continent and it also indicated that the number of participants may increase in future editions taking place in other African countries (Bangui, Yaounde, Brazzaville and Libreville are part of serious candidates to host the second edition of Afrika One Team).

After thanking the club president MSR Basketball Dr. Kamel Benahomar for its logistical support, Cyrille Ngario paid tribute to the courage of the participants despite a difficult month of Ramadan. It was as welcoming parents boss NBB ended his speech to the applause of the whole room look.

It is then under the direction of two Moroccan coaches camp took place with warm-up and stretching sessions. T-shirts, medals, certificates and balloons were offered by News Basket Bêafrika participants and their family members. Children, Parents, leaders of various Moroccan clubs and the public, all were unanimous on the idea of ​​returning soon to Morocco to organize similar events. Through the voice of its leader, News Basket Bêafrika,  had not missed the opportunity to explain to children and relatives role as an international media in the basketball world. In the coming years, our media will try to find partners to allow the program to grow and expand throughout the African continent.

"Salamalikoum, Kider? Beher? Koulchi Mezien? Kif Alak? Hamdou lah! (Laughter). I am very pleased to be here today in this room El Mamoune full of history. Many beautiful things have been done here (where MSR won his only title of the Moroccan national championship in 1960 since its founding in 1945.) First of all I want to thank you personally and on behalf of the entire team News Basket Bêafrika your presence in this first edition basketball camp entitled "AFRIKA ONE TEAM." Despite the Ramadan period, you responded to this appointment, and I commend you for your courage and your motivation. Allow me to thank for this club president Dr. MSR Kamel Benahomar agreeing to this room at our disposal. My thanks also go to the technical staff here now composed of two Moroccan coaches and two Central African (Amos Ngabanda and Yannick Bougoua.). In the coming years, our media will try to find partners to allow the program to grow and expand throughout the African continent. It is very important to specify that News Basket Bêafrika is an international media whose role is to ensure coverage of the various competitions globally, ie the Turkish Airlines Euroleague with whom we work, NBA, NCAA WNBA and the various African and European championships. We also provide coverage of all international competitions at FIBA ​​World. Moreover, speaking of that, Morocco will soon compete Afrobasket 2013 to be held from 20 to August 31 in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. Through this project Afrika One Team, NBB will promote basketball in a social setting on the African continent with children your age because you are the future of tomorrow So you have the right to receive a better education but also to thrive fully. objective of this camp is to allow everyone to learn to turn the sport we all love.
