The list of eight referees that will officiate at the 2013 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four in London includes some of the best referees in the sport. Euroleague Basketball is pleased that the selection boasts experienced referees from seven different countries. Among the eight, six have previous Final Four experience and the same number also worked at last summer’s Olympic Games in London, including three in the medal rounds at the O2, site of this season’s Final Four. The eight referees are Ilija Belosevic of Serbia, Matej Boltauzer of Slovenia, Guerrino Cerebuch of Italy, Elias Koromilas of Greece, Luigi Lamonica of Italy, Olegs Latisevs of Latvia, Robert Lottermoser of Germany and Boris Ryzhyk of Ukraine. Belosevic will appear in his sixth Final Four, the most among the group, followed by Lomanica with five. It will be a third Final Four each for Boltauzer, Latisevs, Lottermoser and Ryzhyk. Belosevic has refereed the Euroleague title game on three occasions (2004, 2006 and 2008) as has Lamonica (2007, 2011 and 2012). Lottermoser refereed alongside Lamonica in the 2011 final. Among their many top-level assignments, Belosevic, Lamonica and Lottermoser refereed in the Olympic semifinals last summer in London. The Euroleague refereeing department has selected these eight referees to both reward professional competency and diversify the pool of referees with experience in European basketball's signature event.
