Arvydas Sabonis to judge dunkers at Fan Zone!

This season's Turkish Airlines Euroleague Fan Zone at Trafalgar Square will feature several new twists designed to keep our devoted fans at the center of the action. And what better way to do that than have the fans themselves compete with the stars of tomorrow! 

The Fan Zone will host Turkish Airlines Slam Dunk Contests as well as the VTB Arena Three-Point Contest, both of which will send the best fans to compete alongside a selection of top young athletes from the participating teams of the Nike International Junior Tournament. 

Throughout the day on Friday and Saturday, interested fans will get the chance to show off their high-flying skills in the dunk contests and their long-ball ability in the three-point shootouts. The best two dunkers and three-point marksmen will be invited back to the Turkish Airlines Central Court at 18:00 Saturday to compete against stars from the NIJT for the right to wear the crown of London's King of Threes or Dunking Dandy. 

What's more, the dunkers will be judged by one of the greatest players in the history of the sport, Arvydas Sabonis, who will join the jury to decide the winner! 

The dunking and shooting competitions will continue Sunday at Trafalgar Square leading up to the Fan Zone Awards Ceremony before the 2013 Euroleague Final at the O2.
